About Me...

New Paragraph

I am a trained Parent Coach who has worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. I received my MA from New York University and, in addition to my certification as a Parent Coach, I am a licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board Certified Music Therapist. My clinical specialties include children with emotional and developmental challenges and I have worked in a broad range of clinical settings, including psychiatry, pediatrics and therapeutic school settings. I am originally from New York, where I maintained a group private practice and created several clinical programs throughout the metropolitan area.

I have conducted workshops and presented my work throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. I am an adjunct faculty member and clinical supervisor at New York University.

My husband and I have raised two boys, one of whom has autism and other special needs. We have advocated for him throughout his school years and secured many needed services andplacements. Over the years, I have informally consulted with a multitude of parents struggling with early diagnosis and securing educational needs and recently completed my certification as a Parenting Coach from the Jai Institute. I am currently building my private practice developing workshops and support programs throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

When I am not coaching, I direct a children’s theater and make music as much as I can. Creativity feeds my soul. I love to paint rocks, create sculptures and find zany things to add to my garden — which really only consists of pachysandra and rocks since I’m not a very good gardener. I am at my happiest with a good snow storm, a cup of coffee and cozy-ing up with a gripping book or movie while hanging out with my husband and our boys.

As a Parent Coach, I am authentic and honest in my work with parents. Because of my background, I have a deep understanding of the complexities of raising children in today’s world and can offer support and insight to those who desire it. I am sensitive to parents’ own needs and challenges and provide a place to explore what parenting means in each unique family.

I want to help you find compassion and grace for your own self as you struggle along your way or simply need a little extra help. You don’t have to be a perfect parent and you don’t have to have all the answers. You just need to be willing to find answers alongside your children.

"We interviewed a bunch of coaches, and when we met Ann, we knew she was the one for us!"

"We love how her coaching combines her professional background as a therapist and her wise motherly intuition."
