PARENT COACHING

Parent coaching is a process that involves providing support, guidance and individualized practical tools to empower parents to make informed decisions as they navigate the challenges of raising children in today’s world. The aim of parent coaching is to enhance parenting skills, strengthen parent-child relationships and improve overall family dynamics.

Parents often face various issues and struggles as they raise their children, such as behavioral problems, school-related concerns, emotional challenges or various other special needs. Coaches work alongside caregivers to address specific areas of concerns, assist in identifying the root causes of the issues and find effective solutions.

The focus is the relationship between you and your child but it also encourages you to take a deeper look into your own upbringing and how that impacts your views of parenting is and isn’t.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • Greater insight into your relationship with your children and what they communicate through their behavior

  • Better management of your own reactivity and triggers in relation to your children

  • Decreased parent-child conflict through more effective communication

  • Increased confidence as you acquire new skills and become equipped to handle challenges and uncertainties

  • Addressing special circumstances such as divorce, grief or raising a child with special needs

  • Better management of your own triggers and reactivity in response to your children

  • Increased consistency of parenting styles with your partner
